USACK logoYouth Canoe & Kayak Sprint Racing Team

Join your friends in a coeducational, competitive program where youth can develop flatwater canoe & kayak racing skills with our expert coaching staff.  Have fun while building self-confidence, life skills, efficient paddling technique, endurance and strength and pursuing goals.  Seasonal and year-round training groups compete at a variety of levels in age-group competitions, including National Championships.  The racing season begins in May and runs through September.  See our web site www.canoe-kayak.com for the race schedule.
C 4Our coaching staff has taught and coached competitive paddlers from beginners to Olympians, including members of the 2000 & 2004 US Olympic Teams.  You set your goals; coaches support you so you have a high likelihood of achieving them.

Our Team is lead by former US National Team member, National Team coach and 2003 US National Team Leader, Dan Henderson.  Dan also co-authored the International Canoe Federation (The World and Olympic governing body for canoe & kayak racing) Coaching Manual and was the featured speaker on biomechanics at the 2009 International Canoe Federation Coaching Conference in Warsaw, Poland.
