Cascade Canoe & Kayak Race for the Cookies!
Join us for a fun day of racing for all types of canoes and kayaks, up to 22 feet in length. Racers are seeded by order of expected speed and start one at a time on 30-second intervals. Catch the paddler in front of you and keep the racer behind you from catching up! All racers receive their time and Cookies! 2 laps of the racecourse.

10:00 Time to Race! 2 km, followed by 6 km followed by 10 km
12:30 Lunch and Awards
Entry Fee $10 per person includes lunch
Classes:
3 distances – 2km, 6km, 10 km on a 2 km course, each will start separately with a mass start
- 2 km – 1 lap for novice kayaks and canoes, women and men, youth and adults in recreational and touring kayaks, TK-1s and recreational canoes
- 6 km – 3 laps for ICF Sprint kayaks and canoes, women and men, youth and adult – for first year paddlers who are into sprint boats and adults who are not up for 10 km
- 10 km – 5 laps for ICF Sprint Canoes and kayaks, women and men, Bantam, Juvenile/Junior, and Open, and Open and men and women surf skis
