Cascade Canoe & Kayak Race Team Open House
Fitness & Racing for All ages!
Come to our boathouse and learn about the racing opportunities at Cascade Canoe & Kayak Racing Team. Youth programs begin as young as 10 years old, Adult Programs at 18 and Masters are 30 and older. It’s a great way to improve your paddling skills, fitness and strength and make new friends. Seasonal and year-round training groups compete at a variety of levels in age-group competitions, including National Championships. The racing season begins in May and runs through October. For youth programs, no prior experience is required. Adults must possess basic paddling skills such as Get Started Kayaking.

4th of July Fireworks Paddle
Join us to view the wonderful 4th of July fireworks in Renton. We’ll meet at the Renton Boathouse and launch at our dock. Then our guides will lead your paddle excursion to Coulon Park for a front row seat (but not too close) to watch the fireworks. Afterwords, we’ll paddle back to the boathouse. USCG PFDs and navigation light (available for purchase at the boathouse) required.
