Level II: Kayak Touring Skill Development
Expand your opportunities for exploration and the wonderful places you can visit by further developing you skills and learning to paddle in currents; very common conditions in the Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands.
You will learn to turn into, out of, cross and paddle in moderately flowing currents. Take your skills to a higher level and learn a self-rescue. We'll have lots of fun and visit two beautiful islands in Skagit Bay! Lessons are taught in single sea kayaks.
Level II is a carefully measured and planned step up from Level I
