Level 1: Kayak Touring 
Foundation
In this beginning level kayaking course you will learn how to have fun and be safe on lakes and protected waters of Puget Sound. You will learn about maneuvering strokes to take you where you want to go, to paddle with the wind and small waves, basic navigation, assisted rescue, crossings and paddling with a group. Our level one class consists of three on the water sessions: the first two evening classes are on Lake Washington to learn skills and then a day trip to a beautiful Puget Sound destination to continue to learn practice.
Lessons are taught in single kayaks.

Ability to swim 50 yards |
Kayak rental includes the kayak, PFD, paddle, spray skirt, and pump.
Save money by using your own boat and/or dry suit
Your boat must be approved by the instructor

Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:00-9:00 and the following Saturday day trip 8:00-5:00
